Venice, FL Independent Restaurant Owner speaks to Professor Barron’s Intro to Hospitality Class

Rob Arbuckle, independent restaurant owner of Left Coast Seafood spoke to Professor Keith Barron’s  introduction to hospitality class in Tampa on September 30, 2013 . Left Coast Seafood is a 250 Seat restaurant in Venice. Mr. Arbuckle gave the students advice on how to open and operate an independent restaurant.

Sports Tourism expert joins CHTL as a visiting professor

Dr. Serdar Ongan joined the College of Hospitality and Technology Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in 2013 as a visiting professor. He received his Ph.D. from Istanbul University,Turkey. After being an assistant professor, he was promoted to associate professor in 2005 and full professor in 2010 in the same university.

Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology is ranked as a “B” journal

Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology (JHTT) is ranked as a “B” journal by the Australian Business Deans Council. JHTT is edited by USF Sarasota-Manatee College of Hospitality and Technology Leadership Dean Cihan Cobanoglu. JHTT was born in 2010 and since then it published 4 volumes with 3 issues in each volume.
