The Facilities Planning and Management Department is responsible to the Regional Chancellor of the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee for the planning, design, construction and management of the physical facilities and environment of the campus. Together, these functions underlie a continuing responsibility to provide the environment necessary for the fulfillment of the instructional and research needs of the University within the available resources.
Facilities Planning and Management maintains a productive and mutually
beneficial relationship with the USF System leadership and appropriate
administrative departments for the reporting of the campus master plan, capital
improvement plan, legislative budget requests, space utilization, and other
relevant information to the Florida Board of Governors (BOG).
