USFSM has begun the transition to the Canvas Learning Management System. Blackboard will continue to be available through Fall until Dec 20th, 2013.
To access Canvas, log into the single sign-on portal
USFSM E-Learning has resources available to help you transition to the new system. Dale Drees and Stephanie Fuhr are available for one-on-one appointments and weekly conduct training on Canvas and the tools that are used inside of Canvas.

New Student Information
The first step is to set up your USF Net ID. This will be your single sign-on account that gives you access to all of your courses and student information. Go to the USF Net ID website to set up your account.
All students who are currently registered for classes can obtain a USF Gmail account. All you need is your NetID. You can access your student email at mail.usf.edu. Once your email account it set up you will be able to access it through a shortcut in your myUSF portal. On-Campus Wireless Internet
To access the campus wireless network you must have a wireless card in your computer and a valid USF email account. To register your computer and learn more about our campus's wireless policies visit the Wireless Internet Information website.

Atomic Learning TutorialsFor independant learners we have a subscription to the Atomic Learning library which contains tutorials on most major software applications for Mac and Windows.
Visit apps.usf.edu to gain access to the applications you will need for your courses including Adobe CS5, Microsoft Office, and many more. Once you log in you will be able to use these programs virturally from any computer with internet access.
Digital cameras, flip video cameras, headphones, audio recorders, global presenters, and more are available for you to check out. For more information see our Equipment Checkout page or visit the Information Commons on the second floor of the Main Rotunda.
The USF Computer Store is an online store that gives Faculty, Staff, and Students access to discounted computer and software products that can be delivered right to your door. On the Tampa Campus you can visit their physical store in the Marshall Center, MSC 1506 or give them a call at 813-974-1779.
Printing on campus
Students can now print directly from their personal laptop or one of the open-use computers in the Information Commons on the second floor of the rotunda. To set up your laptop for printing visit the IT Printing website for instructions for your specific computer. Free printing is available for up to 11 pages per day.
